Luanda — The "Universidade Independente de Angola" (UnIA), signed recently an international academic accord with the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of Catanduva (IMES/FAFICA).
According a UnIA's note, delivered Monday to Angop, the signature occurred on December 10, at the IMES-FAFICA's campus, in the presence of the university's chancellor, Carlos Alberto Burity da Silva and IMES-FAFICA's director, Cibelle Rocha Abdo.
The accord has as its purpose an academic-scientific cooperation between the two institutions, involving a programme of exchange of lecturers and students, exchange of experiences in the fields of teaching, research and publishing of works from the two institutions.
Based in Luanda UnIA runs seven undergraduate courses, namely, law, communication science, management and marketing, civil engineering, electronics and telecommunications engineering, computer engineering and natural resources and environment engineering.
