Luanda — Seventeen players make up the pre-selected senior males roller-skate hockey national squad, who are undergoing a special training programme, in Cidadela sports pavilion, in Luanda, until December, ANGOP has learnt.
The session, to be led by Spanish coach Miguel Humbert Riera, is made up of players from the teams Juventude de Viana, Petro de Luanda, Grupo Desportivo da Banca and Académica de Luanda.
The training is aimed at maintaining the physical level of the players, as well as the tactical moves of the squad, which the technical team intend to implement in future international competitions.
The summoned players are Lito, Pedalé, Henda Leite, Mitó, Toy Gaspar, Toy Adão, Rui André, Rui Miguel, Kwenha, Juju, Mamíkwa, Zé das Botas, Márcio Fernandes, Joe, Kirro, Chara and Kiza.
The national team next will participate in February 2009 in the Vindima international tournament, in Argentina.
