Luanda — Angola will be represented at the general assembly of the executive commission of the Association of African Ombudsmen and Mediators (AOMA), to happen on 22-25 November, in Tripoli, Libya.
The national delegation will be led by the Angolan ombudsman, Paulo Tjipilica.
The event will discuss topics like the creation of an Ombuds Research Centre, in Kwaazulu Natal University, as well as the strengthening of co-operation with other human rights organisations.
At the event, participants will also discuss the holding of the next general assembly, scheduled for April 2010, in the Luanda (Angola), as well as the admission of new members into the organisation.
