As part of efforts to ensure that there is no stoppage in the dissemination of information from the police to the public through the media and also ensure that there is no vacuum in the Public Relations arm of Airport Police Command, the Command has appointed a new Public Relations Officer (PRO).
The new PRO is Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Anele Samuel Onuoha Nkemakolam.
The appointment became necessary following the redeployment of the former PRO, DSP Mike Ochuko to the State Police Command.
DSP Anele, a 1998 graduate of Mass Communication, Abia State University , Uturu, was until his recent appointment the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport , Owerri.
With this appointment Anele who had already started carrying out his responsibilities and replaces DSP Mike Ochuko, who has been redeployed to the State Police Command.
According to Anele, "I will do my best as the PRO of the Command to strengthen the existing relations between stakeholders in the aviation industry and the Police".
He assured aviation correspondents that he would operate an open door policy in line with the Airport Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hashimu Arungungu's style of administration.

I apprecitate the effort of my new command CP Compol Argungu for the new appointment of the PPRO of the command.
We are behind the command in prayers of success and close police community relationship which shall be our watch ward.
