Owing to the hiccups being encountered in this year's hajj airlift to the Holy Land, a prominent businessman in Katsina State, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal has brought into the country, three aircraft to ease the dificulty.

Mangal made provisions for three Boeing 747 aircrafts of the 300 series specifications reputed to be the best in the African aviation industry. The Boeing 747, 300 series has a capacity for 480 passengers.

The first aircraft arrived yesterday and was immediately leased to Kabo Air which lifted 480 Katsina State pilgrims to the Holy Land.

Alhaji Mangal has changed the name of his company from Mangal Airline to MAX Airline Nigeria Ltd.

Media Consultant to MAX Airline Ltd, Mallam Ibrahim Dahiru speaking to Daily Trust last night said the two remaining aircraft would arrive separately by December and early next year to help in airlifting pilgrims for the Hajj and Umra operations.

"The two will arrive and will continue in the work of airlifting pilgrims to the Holy Land and it is our belief that the coming of these aircraft will reduce the suffering faced by our people," he said.
