Laryea Kingston is keen to recover from the injury that has kept him out of action for three weeks and feels he can be back playing again in two weeks.
Kingston had underestimated the foot injury that has kept him out of the side's three straight wins in the SPL but he now wants it to heel properly before he attempts to kick a ball again.
"I thought I would be back quickly when I sustained the injury but it has taken a while," he told KickOffGhana.com.
"I have been running over the last week but there is still a bit of pain. I am just hoping I can start hitting the ball and get back in two weeks."
Kingston is one of many Ghanaian internationals crocked and unavailable for Wednesday's friendly against Tunisia but he will be keeping a close eye on how it goes.
"In a way it is good that others can have the chance to earn a place in the squad because it expands the quality available to the squad.
"I will be cheering them on because we cannot lose two straight friendly games."
