Abeokuta — Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has commended the State Bureau of Electrical Engineering Services (OGSEP), for its efficiency and high sense of responsibility.
Daniel gave the commendation while commissioning the electrification project at Ijumo Ologboni, during his community demand tour of Ewekoro local government area.
He expressed delight that OGSEP could get the community electrified in less than a month, pointing out that the Bureau had consistently delivered efficient services to the people.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary in the Bureau, Engineer Olufoloranmi Onayemi, stated that the Bureau had worked tirelessly in order to carry out the governor's directive to get the project ready within a month though it was supposed to take about six months.
He explained that the Bureau met a lot of challenges but overcame them and delivered as expected.
He expressed appreciation to the governor for providing the funds to execute various electrification projects across the state.
Engineer Onayemi described the governor as a very magnanimous person who always considered the plight of the people and how to make life more comfortable for them.
He enjoined the community to protect all amenities in their area, particularly electrical installations, from vandals.
