Tunis — A welcome ceremony was organized on Tuesday morning in honor of Mrs Kristina Fernandez De Kirchner, President of the Republic of Argentina who arrived in Tunis on Monday night for a work and friendship visit from November 17 to 19.

President Ben Ali welcomed Tunisia's host. Later both Heads of State saluted the flag at the sound of the national anthems of both countries, before reviewing a detachment of the presidential guard which paid them honors.

The Head of State greeted the members of the delegation accompanying the Argentinean President, who in turn shook hand with the personalities that came to greet her, notably the Prime Minister, the members of the Democratic Constitutional Rally's Political Bureau and the members of the cabinet.
