Favorable conditions for rain will be confined to the northeastern parts of Namibia today, weatherman Victor Kaurimuje said yesterday.
He said towns such Rundu, Katima Mulilo and Grootfontein are likely to get some showers today.
Tomorrow, he said, rainfall conditions will spread to the northwest to bring some showers at places such as Ruacana and Eenhana.
Meanwhile, the country's main dams are showing some good readings, according to NamWater's weekly dam bulletin.
The Von Bach Dam (in the Windhoek area) stands at 93,1 per cent of full capacity, compared to 58 per cent at this time last year.
The Goreangab Dam (on the outskirts of Windhoek) stands at 89,5 per cent.
In the Omaheke Region, the Otjivero Man Dam is at 91,1 per cent while the Tilda Viljoen Dam stands at 81,1 per cent.
