Luanda — Angola Handball Federation (FAA) chairman, Pedro Godinho, informed this Monday in Lubango City, southern Huila Province, that his institution will start building, as from next year, inter-regional handball schools.
Pedro Godinho made this statement after a meeting with Youth and Sports provincial department director, Manuel Cafussa, a few hours after arriving in Huila for a two-day work visit.
Pedro Godinho said that the project is part of the federation's programme for the next four years.
FAA chairperson added that the project will prioritise the creation of infrastructures, training of technicians, as well as assuring payments of wages for future trainers.
He revealed that one of the main aims of the programme is to end the unequal treatment, in terms of sports activities, between Luanda and other provinces, with actions turned to training of handball players and other projects.
