Kigali — RWANDA'S Amavubi team faces Togo in an international friendly match set for this evening in Lome.

The Tucak Blanko's side goes into today's test with aim of posting good results as they prepare to participate in the third and final round of the 2010 World/Africa Cup qualifiers.

Rwanda and Togo engage their sides to this build-up fixture as part of both nations' preparations ahead of the start of the third phase of the 2010 World/Africa qualifier set for March next year.

Rwanda is drawn alongside Algeria, Egypt and Zambia in Group C of the 2010 World Cup qualifiers while their opponents Togo has been drawn against Morocco, Gabon and Cameroon in group A.

Having failed to qualify for the last two Nations Cup finals, Rwanda must finish inside the top three to qualify for Angola 2010 CAN finals.

The Amavubi Stars open their campaign on March 28, 2009 at home against Algeria, travel to Zambia on June 6 before winding the first leg matches with a daunting away tie against Egypt on July 10.
