Angola: MPLA Party at Socialist International Meeting

Nueva Vallarta — A delegation of Angola's ruling MPLA party headed by its secretary general, Julião Mateus Paulo "Dino Matrosse", is attending since Monday in the Nueva Vallarta state, Mexico, the meeting of the Socialist International, ANGOP has learnt.

Dino Matross is also expected to address the event that is scheduled to end this Tuesday and which is aimed at analysing the current economic crisis.

MPLA's delegation comprises the secretary for Foreign Affairs, Paulo Teixeira Jorge, and other senior party officials.

A delegation of MPLA's women wing (OMA), comprised the politicians Alice Dombolo Chivaca and Adélia de Carvalho, is also in Mexico attending a meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Socialist International for Women.

Socialist International is a worldwide organization of democratic socialist, social democratic and labour political parties. It was formed in 1951.
