Abuja — Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida has pledged to galvanise the private sector to boost the Samson Siasia academy, Sia-one Soccer Academy just as the Federal Government is collaborating with Spain through Real Madrid FC to float similar academy to enhance foot-ball development amongst the youths in the country.
General Babaginda, who was represented at the launch of the N3 billion project by the former Sports Minister, Colonel Musa Mohammed (rtd), said the establishment of the soccer academy was the best initiative as it would focus on youths football development.
