A former skipper of the Super Eagles, Austin Okocha, is top on the list of dignitaries expected to grace the fund raising dinner of the West Africa Football Union on Wednesday in Asaba.
The Local Organising Committee of the competition on Tuesday confirmed that the former international would be at the event.
The chairman of the Media Committee, Ade Ojeikere, said Okocha was invited to further add colour to the occasion.
He also said that Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and his predecessor, James Ibori, have also confirmed to the LOC that they would be in Asaba for WAFU.
"We expect a great night because so many other people are coming in to support the event. All other arrangements are going on well for the event," he stressed.
Twenty countries in the West African sub-region are too compete for honours in the age-limit football competition holding in four Delta cities - Oghara, Warri, Oleh and Ogwashi-Ukwu.
Chief Ibori is expected to personally handover the trophy which he donated for the competition to the LOC.The WAFU U-20 competition holds between November 28 and December 8
