An extract from the article, 'Why Hazel Should Win', by Tashi Tagg on her TVSA blog.
You can check out the full article, as well as other BBA- and TV-related articles, at http://www.tvsa.co.za/ "The truth of the matter is I don't have any problems with Tawana's sexploits - I fully believe women should be allowed to enjoy and say they like sex in the same way men do and go as wild as they please.
To top it all off I'm annoyed by society in general and feeling trapped by global sexism.
...
Ultimately in a nutshell - it's made me realise something very important - no matter how yawny Hazel's been - she has to win.
On one hand she may have been boring and cooked and cleaned but on another she's been very smart 'cos she's under no illusions - she got together with one guy as protection, he left just in time so he's no longer a contender and she knows that if she were anything other than the image she's presented she'd never win.
Also - her first words when she came into the house have stuck with me when she said she wasn't afraid of anything.
With 100 000 dollars she can wield her power."
