WEIRD, I woke up between three and four yesterday morning thinking about Morris! Can you believe it? I can't! Guess I'm certifiable now!! Eish, pipo.
Don't know why.
But in those early dawn hours it occurred to me that Morris would actually make quite a cool Indiana Jones! Can't you just see him in a khaki fedora venturing forth to nail the baddies, his Morris-isms in his knapsack, whip coiled at the ready ...
Morris, duuuuuude!!! OK, OK.
That's what sleep deprivation does to you! Usile, Jean.
But I can see it, I really can.
Just as I can see Hazel as the ultimate poker player! Has there ever been a more straightfaced BBA contestant? Peeps, I really believe that Hazel could not only dice the cards but deadpan the pack at any Vegas casino or the World Poker Tournament.
Bet on it! But y'know, I'm not sure straightfaced necessarily means straightlaced ...
Hazy more than gets her Shwayze on come any given Saturday night, and I'm still wondering if there isn't an inner vamp waiting to hit the diva ramp.
I'm telling you, there's more to Hazy than meets the eye!! Bet on it! I mean, who would have thought at the start of BBA3 that Miss Hazel Warren would be among the final three? Not me.
Now she's not only hanging in there, but she's in with more than a chance.
Yip peeps, there are threads popping up all over the blogosphere on 'why Hazel should win'! And judging from the sentiments flowing on the Oboma and other BBA threads, don't count her out.
I'm not betting on it, but hella I'm not betting against it.
Not just because she's the antithesis of Tawana, but because the behaviour of the young bucks - he who may not be named [yeah BBA nation, with all the pulp friction this column has generated, I've had a gag order slapped on me by the Victoria Falls bloc!] and Ricco - seems to have boosted her chances.
There's a backlash against the way the two smugly laughed and joked about their 'storytelling' with Tawana behind her back.
Not sure how widely this is going to translate into votes, but there's movement out there.
And it's not under the duvet! He who may not be named picked 'The Joker' to win Head of House, but have he and Ricco now dealt Hazel the aces? Watch this space!
