Angola: Workshop Debates 'Family's Role in Educating Children'

Dundo — Education improvement and the family's role in the child's schooling process, are topics being discussed at a workshop on "The role of education in Angola", jointly held this Wednesday in Dundo city, by the government of north-eastern Luanda Norte province and the Eduardo dos Santos Foundation (FESA).

During the opening ceremony, the provincial governor of Lunda Norte, Ernesto Muangala, revealed that the event will guarantee the improvement of the education system and increase teachers' involvement in the restructuring process underway in the region.

During the graduation day, teachers of Chitato district will be lectured by the Brazilian expert, Milde Fonseca, and by the Ministry of Education's national director for general education, Luísa Grilo.
