Luanda — The Social Solidarity Fund "Fundo Lwini" released Tuesday in Luanda a collection of six postal stamps and a book entitled "Em defesa da pessoa portadora de deficiência vítima de minas".
This took place during a ceremony witnessed by the "Fundo Lwini" founder and chairwoman, Ana Paula dos Santos, who is also the first lady of Angola.
The stamps bear pictures that depict activities carried out or sponsored by "Fundo Lwini" like awareness and demining, actions of solidarity and friendship and costs Akz 235,00, about Usd 2,00.
The book "In defence of disabled people, landmine victim" relates activities carried out by "Fundo Lwini" towards improving people's living.
"Fundo Lwini" was created a year after the visit to Angola of princess Diana, that is in January 1997.
The ceremony of launch was witnessed by government officials, politicians, diplomats, representatives of NGOs operating in the humanitarian field and other guests.
The event was part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the fund, on June 30.
