Ghana: Milo Pleased With Poor Display

20 November 2008

Milovan Rajavac says he is satisfied with the performance of players despite a display that failed to turn on the crowd.

The Serbian, taking charge of only his third game as Ghana boss now has a one win, one, draw and one loss record in charge of Ghana but he was more concerned about how his most second string players performed and claimed they gave of their best on the evening.

"I am not unsatisfied with the game," Rajevac said.

"The boys gave their best. It would have been better if we won but it was a good game and very competitive."

Rajevac's view was the direct opposite of many of the fans in the stadium who watched as the Stars gave up possession easily and struggled to string together passes.

The closest the side came to scoring a goal was Matthew's ball that came off the post towards the end of the first half but Rajevac insist his side will come good when key players return.
