Nigeria: Nipps Set to Graduate 65 On Saturday

Jos — The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPPSS) in Kuru, Jos, has intensified arrangements for the graduation ceremony of 65 participants of SEC 30 of the institution.

This was disclosed yesterday by the acting Director General of the institution, Mr James Kolawole Opadiran at a news conference in Jos. Opadiran said all the 65 participants would be awarded the MNI at the graduation ceremony on Saturday. He said Ugandan President, Yoweri Moseveni would be the distinguished lecturer to deliver a lecture on "Development Strategies for African Countries; imperatives for actualizing the objectives of Vision 2020 and the seven Point Agenda" at the pre graduation lecture on Friday and he will be accompanied by Vice President Good Luck Jonathan.

When asked whether the embattled former EFCC Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu would be among the graduands, the acting Director General said; "up till now, they are still working and compiling the list of those that will graduate and anybody that passes will be awarded the MNI and since we are working on their papers we will wait and see those that will be awarded on graduation day". He reiterated the commitment of the institution to contribute positively to the actua-lization of the present administration's mission on Vision 20-2020.
