Angola: 1º De Agosto and Asa in Zone Vi Tournament Final

Luanda — The Angolan senior males basketball teams of 1º de Agosto and ASA will face each other this Thursday in Lusaka, Zambia, for the final of the zone VI basketball tournament, qualifier for the African champions clubs cup, to be held this year in Tunisia.

The match is scheduled for 5 pm (Angola time).

In the race to get to the final, 1º de Agosto, African title holders, beat Desportivo da Beira of Mozambique by 94-61, while ASA defeated Ferroviário de Maputo (of the same country) by 73-58 in the semi-finals.

The Angolan teams are qualified for the final stage of the African champions clubs cup, set for December, in Tunisia.
