Lubango — The chairman of the managing board of the Millennium Bank Angola, José Reino da Costa, said Thursday in southern Huila province that the institution expects to have its branches expanded countrywide soon.
The official was speaking after the inauguration of Huila's first branch of the bank - the country's 13rd - by the province's deputy governor, Adriano da Silva.
He assured that the bank will keep on expanding until reaching the whole country.
He also announced that the bank intends to open soon one more branch in northern Cabinda province and another one in Luanda.
According to the source, the bank is seeking to play a fundamental role in the economic development of the province.
The new Millennium branch has thus created nine jobs. It has branches in the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Luanda and Zaire.
