Kickoff (Cape Town)

Nigeria coach Shuaibu Amodu is pleased with his team's exertions on Wednesday despite having gone down 1-0 to Colombia in their international friendly match in Cali.
Amodu's squad suffered from a rash of withdrawals and late arrivals, and the Nigerians were beaten by a hotly disputed, albeit legitimate, goal from Falcao Garcia nine minutes from time.
But Amodu was pleased to take away some positives from the game
"Coming to Colombia was a great test for us and we have learnt a lot from the trip. We hope to play more of these matches as we prepare for the African qualifiers," he said.
"We are looking at playing more friendlies in our build up to the last phase of the qualifiers. We want to look at the options we have and what some of the players can do under certain conditions."
Nigeria open their 2010 World Cup qualifier against Mozambique next March.
