Luanda — The provincial culture department of Luanda will hold this Friday, at the facilities of Liga Africana civic centre, a draw of the parading order for the 2009 edition of the Carnival.

According to a source from that institution, the activity that will count on the presence of the carnival groups representatives of Luanda, will be held in collaboration with the provincial association for carnival of Luanda (Aprocal).

In the draw, there will be the parade order of 13 groups of the category A and 14 groups belonging to category B, both in adults class, and 11 groups of the infant category.

União Mundo da Ilha group are the title holders of the category A and they will get a homage in this carnival edition.

In category B, União Povo da Samba group were the winners of the last carnival edition and consequently guaranteed their participation in the class A.

União Cassules 10 Dezembro group from Maianga district are the title holders of the infants category.
