Luanda — The director of the Angola Historic Archive, Alexandra Aparício, said Friday in Luanda, that the bibliographic material placed at the disposal of the public aims at stimulating students and researchers into gathering and divulging information on Angola's history.
"Stimulating students and researchers into showing what exists on the history of Angola's liberation struggle and independence is the main purpose that led the Angola Historic Archive into holding this exhibition," she said.
She said the exhibition is intended to inform about the existing documental and bibliographic asset as a way of facilitating the access, divulging and collections, thus contributing to provide more information and knowledge.
The opening of the exhibition "Angola from the liberation struggle to independence: documents, memories and studies" was attended by the minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, the deputy minister, Cornélio Caley, politicians and students.
