Luanda — The head of the Division of African Literature of the National Institute of Book and Disc (INALD) on Saturday here said that he believes in the achievement of the objective outlined by the institution to get the citizen closer to the national literature.
Michel Mutayiya expressed this point of view at the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the "Tenda das Letras (tent of words)", which is happening until this Sunday.
In his opinion, this shall be made possible by the fact that the event "Tenda das Letras" has been already happening in some districts of Luanda city.
According to the source, apart from the objectives planned, the organising body expected at achieving the same levels of adherence as those obtained in the districts of Rangel, Ingombota and others.
On the other hand, the writer John Bella, who was autographing his books at the event, stressed that it shall transmit a positive event, concerning the love and habit to reading, amongst youths.
These activities should be praised, because they will awaken the minds of youths and show that books are also complements of culture, he referred.
To Gabriel Cabuço, member of the event's organising commission, books of various editing companies and libraries of the country shall be displayed from 10am to 05pm on these two days.
