Angola: Poor Environmental Management Causes Climatic Changes

Luanda — The current climatic changes result from the poor management that man implements on the nature, on Saturday here affirmed the minister of Environment, Maria de Fátima Jardim.

The minister made this affirmation whilst speaking at a workshop on "Preserving the environment", held by the nucleus of university students of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG).

According to the official, the life of the modern man is changing the environment in a very fast rhythm, but since he is the main polluting agents he should preserve the environment that is being degraded on a daily basis.

Maria de Fátima Jardim referred that environmental civic and ethic education are items that contribute so that humanity can have a healthy environment.

She thanked for the interest shown by organisers in preserving the planet, considering churches as "the real place for the purification of minds and where every kind of education is obtained, guaranteeing the training of man and his future generations".
