Kampala — A WOMAN Police constable recently amused residents in a busy trading centre when she took to her heels after finding a suspect dead in the cells.

Nalongo, attached to a Police Post in Kamuli district had gone to check on Ngobi, who had been arrested over violence.

On finding the suspect dead, she ran around the trading centre, yelling that the 'man' had killed her job.

Her wails attracted attention from the sympathisers while others blamed her for detaining the suspect for three days.

A concerned resident alerted the Police who took the body for a post mortem and later authorised a burial.
