Uganda: Lyantonde Children Graduate

Kampala — Over 20 children recently graduated from nursery to Primary One at Olly & M Nursery and Primary School in Lyantonde.

At the ceremony, the children, aged below four years, presented a 30-minute presentation, talking about Uganda since independence. They described and imitated different presidents of Uganda, from Sir Edward Mutesa to Yoweri Museveni.

Their presentation had poems, music, dance and drama. The school encourages children to speak English in baby class.

" I am pleased to see baby class children speaking very good English and presenting themselves confidently in front of a big audience," said the Lyantonde District Education Officer, Tom Balojja.

He encouraged children learn about Uganda's history.
