Kampala — CRANES boss Bobby Williamson will have to assess the attacking options available for the CECAFA Championship in today's all-Cranes build-up without first team midfielder Dan Wagaluka.
The fast-paced winger travels to Tanzania at 3pm today, where he is expected to regroup with his new club Azham ahead of their friendly tour in Dubai later this month.
His travel arrangements thus make it impossible for him to be available for selection in the friendly that will present Williamson with a sketchy idea of who will make his final Cranes side for the tournament that commences on December 31.
Wagaluka completed his transfer from URA to Azham last week after being presented a personal sign on fee of US$20,000 (sh36m) that he could not hesitate.
Wagaluka has been an integral figure for the Cranes in the last two years and will continue to be plus for the team if considered.
Cranes, seeking their tenth regional championship, are drawn with Rwanda, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Somalia in Group A.
