Uganda: Crane Bank Opens Visa Card Centre

Kampala — CRANE Bank has opened a visa debit card centre to ease service delivery to Crane Access account customers.

Noel Muhumuza, the centre manager, said the centre would help users access services on visa outlets worldwide.

"The card brings convenience to the holder whenever he wants to pay for services," he said.

"Holders will not have to carry huge sums of money when travelling or when they go shopping."

The centre is located on Kampala Road next to Crane Bank head office.

Muhumuza said the service was targeted at the lower segments of the market. Using visa cards in Uganda is taken as a reserve of the rich. He said the centre, which opened on October 30, was attracting interest among the middle and low market segments.
