Bantu premieres new

X3M music act Ade Bantu was in the country very briefly this week. The 'Afropean' performer stopped over in Lagos, on his way from South Africa. And his mission home was simple: to introduce Nigerians to his new materials - especially the awaited video for the cut Where Di Water.

And in Lagos, before a select team of entertainment enthusiasts and writers, the German-born singer unveiled the clip, revealing his expectations and expressing his gratitude to Nigerians for an unrestrained support over the years.

The new video, and a host of others coming very shortly, constitute the new set of materials that'll usher Bantu into the next phase of his game.

"It's a pleasure for me to be accepted at home", he says. "That's the crown of it all. And I'm happy I can come home anytime I like and feel loved and appreciated.'.

The new video was directed by Sven Halfar.

'I'm quite exotic in terms of my music, but because of the political content and the dignified manner in which I present it, the music is appealing to both Germans and the African audience. This is why the German classified me as a world artiste.

For Africans, they are rather proud to have a son who is both German and African and who is capable of using his art to promote Africans in a dignified manner", he adds.
