Luanda — Angola's only formula 3 pilot, Ricardo Teixeira, representing the British firm, Carlin Motorsport, will offer his helmet to the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, on Monday in Luanda, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Angop learned from an official source.
To this end, according to the source, the racer who is in the country on account of his project of implementing a school to train and provide assistance to car race events, will be received in audience by the minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba.
Angop learned that minister Muandumba's agenda includes a meeting Angolan runner based in Colômbia, João N'tyamba, who has expressed the wish to definitely settle in the country and invest in the training of young racers.
Angola's best ever placed in the world ranking, João Ntyamba, 39, announced his quit this year, with a programme on athletics he will submit to the concerned ministry.
João N'tyamba attended this year, for the sixth running time, the Olympic Games of September in Beijing (China), which is a record in Angola's participations in such events.
