Fon Dom of Din, Noni, Bui Division, Northwest Region, Friday, reportedly lost over 21 cows recently to unknown cattle rustlers in the area.The Fon was hinted of the loss by his herdsman, whom The Post learnt, had gotten up and decided to check whether the cows were safe.
When it was discovered that the cows had been stolen, the entire village was alerted. Several groups were immediately assigned to comb the village and its environs for the rustlers.
However, the mostly youthful group searched in vain.Fon Dom is said to be one of the biggest cattle farmers in Noni and he allegedly spends his leisure time with his cows.
Recently, the people of Noni have suffered cattle rustling.
Early this year, the villagers burnt to death one of the suspect rustlers in Mbinon and shot to death another one in Lassin.
