Kenya: Heartstrings in Another Comedy

22 November 2008

Kenya's leading theatre group, Heartstrings Kenya has organised a play Let Kenyans be Kenyans. The play will show on 26 upto 30 November at Alliance Française Auditorium, Nairobi. The play will usher in the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Let Kenyans be Kenyans was written by Dan Dambuki aka Churchill and directed by Victor Ber and Sammy Mwangi.

Through this comedy, Heartstrings Kenya, will show that lack and abuse of human rights are the very things that keep the society from prospering.

Respect for human rights cultivates an environment for the mutual benefit of all people.

Heartstrings Kenya is a not-for-profit theatre company of verstaile group of actors who enjoy a reputation for quick witted and sharply poignant adaptation of shows that mirror the Kenyan society today ,using conventional proscenium setting perfomance style since 1996.
