Luanda — The Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, Monday here sacked Américo Maria de Morais Garcia, from the post of head of the Civil House of the Presidency of the Republic; Mártires Correia Victor, deputy governor of Luanda; José Maria Durbalino de Carvalho, deputy governor of Malanje, and Miguel Maria Nzau Puna, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador to Canada.
On the other hand, President dos Santos appointed Frederico Manuel dos Santos e Silva Cardoso as chief of Civil House of the presidency of the Republic and Francisco Manuel Monteiro de Queiroz, adviser to the president for Parliamentary Affairs.
The head of State also nominated Jovelina Alfredo António Imperial and Francisco Domingos as the deputy governors of Luanda for social and economic spheres, respectively, while Conceição Luís Cristóvão was appointed vice governor of Malanje.
The Angolan president appointed the vice attorneys general of the Republic, namely Aniceto Miguel da Costa Aragão, Manuel José Domingos, Arcanjo Custódio, Domingos Salvador Baxe, Beato Manuel Paulo, Pascoal António Joaquim, Miguel do Nascimento Morais and Filomena Margarida do Nascimento Gonçalves.
