Uganda: Monthly Football Awards Coming

Kampala — ANFIELD Communications and football awards sponsors Nile Special will start player of the month awards in the second round of Uganda Super League season in January.

A ten man committee that will vet nominees before naming a winner every month of the Super League season is due to be instituted next month, Anfield director Aldrine Nsubuga announced yesterday.

Anfield Communications yesterday gave prizes to the winners of the previous SMS Predict and Win FUFA awards. Seven winners each picked a sh50,000 prize

"It will help erase doubts at the end of the season on who makes the list as best player," Nsubuga told the press in Kampala.
