Kigali — After winning the Rwanda Open, Jean Baptist Hakizimana now needs to learn to post such results more consistently.
The teenage golfer last Friday finished sixth in the Shs3m Stanbic Bank tourney held at Uganda Golf Club (UGC)'s Kitante course after returning scores of 74 and 72 respectively.
Hakizimana, who is sponsored by MTN Rwanda, finished six strokes adrift of Uganda's Godfrey Mande who collected the day's top prize after carding 140 over two rounds.
It was a good come back for the Ugandan following his runner-up finish in the Rwanda Open but Hakizimana insists that consistency will come over time.
"Of course I know that it's difficult to win week in, week out but I need to try and get more consistent with my results. That's my focus now and I know that it won't be long before I get there," he said.
