Low Energy Designs Limited, a United Kingdom-based company that offers "Fit & Forget" intelligent lighting and power solutions incorporating the most technically advanced energy efficient products in the market has announced the appointment of three Nigerian companies as distributors for their CobraComms DC power solution range of products in Nigeria.
The companies are Private Networks Nigeria, PNN, for the Northern Region; Consumer General Electric for Lagos; Novell Engineering Limited for South-South and South East regions; and RB Lotus Limited for the South West region.
Speaking at the formal ceremony in the UK recently, The Commercial Director of Low Energy Designs Limited, Mr. Alan Parker said, "We are not just a company who supply products. We have the experience and technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to fulfil your requirements in reducing your energy consumption. Our focus is to provide the customer with all the information, design and a realistic solution to suit their budget."
He added that these three companies were appointed based on their understanding of the terrain, technical competence and ability to adequately cover the Nigerian market
Low Energy Designs DC Generator hybrid solutions are quickly becoming a force in the crowded market. Developed over four years ago, the products are now being used in Africa, Solomon's Island and Central America.
These ranges of products that will now be available in Nigeria have been tested by independent United Kingdom Accreditation Service approved testing institutions, enabling the company to offer these products into the market with confidence. Low Energy Designs Limited recently concluded a major telecoms operator site swap out of their existing Halogen and Metal Halide lights to LED. The power consumption saving per site per day is over 7.44kWatts or 2,715kWatts per year.
Additional savings have been on the servicing and replacement costs. A total site saving between 75 - 90%.
The SunBURST LED light was specifically chosen because it is the only light in the world to be able to control the heat load on at the LEDs, this ensures maximum life out of the product.
