Nigeria: Education - Senate Comittee Warns On Falling Standard

Abuja — Senate Committee on Education said Tuesday that falling standard would pose an irredeemable danger to the actualisation of the Federal Government's Vision 20:2020.

Speaking at a press conference on the forthcoming education summit scheduled to hold in December, Chairman of the Committee, Senator Joy Emodi, said that Nigeria was already occupying the 18th position on the list of less-favoured countries to achieve the UNESCO target of education for all by 2015.
