Cameroon: MINDEF - Priority To Fighting Insecurity

The Ministers of Defence and Social Affairs yesterday defended the 2009 draft budgetary allocations for their ministries. The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Remy Ze Meka was the first member of government to defend the draft budgetary allocation for the ministry in the 2009 financial year at the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly yesterday.

He defended a budgetary allocation that stands at 162,850,000,000 CFA francs in which is found an investment budget of 11,100,000,000 CFA francs.
