A concern Liberian, Moses Z. Jackson is calling on the Lone Star mobilization committee to publish publicly its financial records of money collected and spent so as to give a broader knowledge of how these monies were spent.
Mr. Jackson who is a 1st division player of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) league also thanked the chairman of the committee for coming out to give clarification on how much money was collect and spent.
He also believes if there is a publication of report on the committee's work relating to collection of money and expenditure, those who supported the stride for Liberia's representation at the 2010 World and African Nation's Cup would again trust the committee's work.
It can be recalled that he first prompted the committee to make statements of funds received and expended which was done through a kind letter sent to the Chief Executive of sports President Johnson-Sirleaf asking for her intervention.
This call which came to the attention of the President of the Republic also made the Chairman of the Lone Star Mobilization Committee, Mr. Willard Russell to issue statement listing the amount of kind gesture received by his committee, and the amount of expenditures placed on the funds received.
The committee is again pushed to the wall to publish her financial records which some believes will bring about accountability.
