Thanda Royal Zulu have explained the absence of midfield anchor Jonas Oketola from the last few games they have played.
Head coach Roger Palmgren discloses that the Benin international has tested positive for a banned substance, but adds that they are still awaiting the results of the sample B test.
"He was found to have had this drug after undergoing an operation on his knee. We are hopeful the B test results will be in our favour because we need Oketola in the midfield as we are battling," said the Swedish mentor.
On losing to Santos, Palmgren said concentration cost them. Santos winger Graham King punished Thanda with a snap shot just outside the box from a Eleazar Rodgers pass in the fifth minute.
"We have to work harder to change things around. We will venture into transfer market to strengthen the team," said Palmgren.
