Luanda — The Angolan Oil minister, Botelho de Vasconcelos, Friday left Luanda for Cairo, Egypt, to attend an extraordinary meeting of concert gathering members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Arab countries oil producing countries.
Speaking to Angop at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, Botelho de Vasconcelos said that the meeting is aims at arrangements on the current situation related to the oil price in the international market and reflect on it.
On Thursday, the oil price fell in the international market, with possible further decline in demand, after having recorded high increases on Wednesday.
However, the market foresees the possibility of a drop in demand of raw materials and their by-products, due to the expected relaxation in the United States economy.
