Mogadishu — A landmine explosion has hit Somali government soldiers vehicle on Sunday, witness said.
The remote controlled blast targeted a convoy of government soldiers from the airport.
Residents say the explosion has not inflicted any casualties to the soldiers, but the soldiers fired many directions after the blast and killed a civilian who was at his home at the time of the blast.
The explosion occurred near Mogadishu International Airport.
I saw soldiers firing and people were running away Aden said.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attacks which occurred Wadajir district.
Mogadishu has been the center of conflict between government forces, their Ethiopian allies and strong, armed Islamists.
