Luanda — The "Dois Milhões" project will be debutting the play "A voz do vírus" (The virus voice) on December 1 in Luanda.
The play is a melodrama with which the project seeks to approach the stigma against Hiv/Aids sufferers.
For almost two hours, two actors analyse and comment on the evil that affects millions of people in the world, that is, the two, on behalf of millions, incarnate the plight experienced by Hiv infected people.
According to Mauro de Carvalho and Domingos Mateus, two members of the group, the play depicts the last moments of the life of the sick who experience an imaginary conversation with his own sub-conscience, as if his mind were the virus itself.
The show is part of the events marking the World Day against Hiv/Aids and is intended for a reflection on the plight of people living with the virus and the sick.
