GOVERNOR Olugbenga Daniel of Ogun State has offered automatic employment into the state's civil service to all the best graduating students and those who bagged first class degrees in their courses at the Tai Solarin University of Education, (TASUED), Ijebu-Ode.

Speaking at the second and third combined convocations of the institution weekend, Gov. Daniel expressed commitment to the provision of qualitative education, while calling on the institution to take up the challenge of re-aligning their teaching and research with needs and challenges of their environment.

"I challenge the ivory tower to appraise their curriculum to nurture graduates who will be drivers and catalysts of development in the country," he said.

The governor tasked the university to develop curricula that would provide skilled manpower for developmental projects such as the Free Trade Zones, Deep seaport, airport, railway, among others, noting that such projects would guarantee self-sustenance to meet its needs.

Daniel charged the institution to continue to render efficient services while also acknowledging the contributions of eminent philanthropists such as Chief Kessington Adebutu, Otunba Alex Onabanjo, and others for their infrastructural provisions in the institution.
