Lagos — Joanne Emi, a solo singer who has worked with the late Sonny Okosuns, Majek Fashek, Christy Essien Ugbokwe, Idris Abdulkareem and of late, Tee mac is set to launch her debut album titled New Day.

Emi, who has spent not less than 20 years in the music industry would be hosting the world on Saturday November 29 at the auditorium of the Christ Crusaders' Deliverance Ministries, River Bank Estate Akute as she formerly launches her album by 12 noon.

Though she has displayed her God- given talents in the past in all forms of reggae and funky music, she claimed that since she was born again, she has made up her mind to use her talent to promote the gospel of God.

Speaking with Klieglights recently, Emi said her album contains seasoned gospel music with songs of praise and some contemporary songs. "Through the inspiration of God, the special songs in this album will lift up your spirit and bring down the glory of God right in your sitting room.
