Tanzania: NCAA to Spend Tsh.6.5 Billion On Infrastructure

Arusha — The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority expects to spend Tsh.6.476 billion on improvement of infrastructure in Ngorongoro district during the 2008/9 fiscal year.

Acting NCAA chief conservator Bruno Kawasange, explained that the infrastructure to be rehabilitated included the road network that linked tourist attractions in the district. He was addressing the Arusha regional road network board in its 24 meeting .

Kawasange said the first priority would be the Ngorongoro Crater access road as well Lodoare-Golini road, View Point-Empakai and new road of Esere to Ngarusi.

Other roads are Olbalbal-Lemutu, Olbalbal-Loonguku and NCAA headquarter - Endulen as well as major repairs on Ndutu airfield.

Speaking at the gathering, the NCAA engineer Joseph Malya specified that about 406 kilometres of road network would be covered under the project.
