Nigeria: Developers Offer Multiple Options At Ofada

Lagos — In their quest to further open up the area for more construction activities, three developing firms are currently undertaking various developments in Ofada Town in Ogun State.

Ofada is gradually becoming one of the hottest havens for construction activities in the country as the area is daily recording increase in estate developments.

Some of the newest estates in the area are: Quantum Park Estates, Honeyland Estate Scheme1 and Sherry View Gardens.

Quantum Estates is being developed by a consortium of developers namely: Quantum Development and Construction Company Limited, CGS Construction Nigeria Limited, Quantum Real Estate Company and Shile Alexandra Nigeria Limited.

Daily Independent learnt that the developers of the estate, which consist of plots of land and construction of houses, has a flexible payment plan for interested buyers. The company is currently offering plots of land for sale in the estate. Land is sold at the rate of N500,000 per plot.

The arrangement at Quantum Estates is also similar to what is available at Honeyland Estate Scheme1, located at Omupenpe in Ofada Town. The estate, which is located in a distance of 30 minutes drive from CBD Ikeja is being developed by OMF Properties Limited, a subsidiary of Oasis Savings and Loans Limited.

Some of the facilities expected in the estate include dedicated transformers, perimeter fence with controlled access gates, efficient maintenance service, efficient power supply and controlled borehole for efficient water supply.

Daily Independent learnt that title on the land may not be any problem to interested buyers as the land has a Deed of Assignment and Global Registered Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). A plot of land in the estate goes for N800,000.

While owners of Quantum Estates and Honeyland Estate are making frantic efforts at ensuring that their estates top the list of interested buyers, developers of Sherry View Garden, City Planners Property and Investment ;Limited are not living anything to chance as the company is also strategising in order to attract buyers.

The company, City Planners Property Investment Limited has an easy payment option called Easy Platform. This, Daily Independent learnt, afford buyers with the option of choosing which option is suitable for them.

Under the Easy Platform scheme there are three plans. These are 24 months payment plan, N25,000 per month plan and outright payment plan. A plot of land in the estate goes for N600,000.

Aside the easy payment plan, the company also has several benefits for interested buyers. An interested buyer in the site and service scheme will enjoy benefits like the easy mortgage assistance plan, easy property acquisition plan, easy property title transfer, easy qualitative product with the state of the art services and facilities, easy platform access to National Housing Fund Loan and easy property delivery.

Some support services that are expected to be available in the estate are medical centre, police and fire stations, health and beauty lounge, shopping mall, filling station and cash points.
